My Relationship With Dell and Stance On Alienware PC’s

Abstract of my expertise with Alienware prebuilt PC’s, the interactions I’ve had with Dell representatives, and addressing a …

on this video i am gonna share my
expertise during the last one yr and
two months coping with alienware
pre-built pcs and a abstract of the
correspondence forwards and backwards between me
and dell representatives i do wish to
make very clear what my opinion with
alienware desktops and laptops are do i
advocate them now have i ever
really helpful them previously do i
advocate shopping for a pre-built interval or
do you have to construct a laptop which we’re doing
proper now on the channel by the way in which then
on the finish of the video i wish to
tackle some hair mind statements i’ve
seen down within the feedback part on
a few of my alienware movies let’s get it
this subject is exhausting actually put her
to sleep
[Music]
so on february 12 2021 which is a yr
and two months in the past i introduced that i
was promoting my customized constructed laptop that was
the primary gaming laptop i had constructed piece by
piece half by half i used to be promoting that laptop
to partially compensate the acquisition
value of an alienware r11 with a tenth
era i7 32 gigabytes of ddr4 ram
1000 watt energy provide and a 3080. and
that applies to enterprise youtube
something like that please come again on
sir thanks very a lot solely actual strategy to
do it i’ve made a number of movies right here
lately is to both pay a scalper
astronomical costs the typical value on
ebay is about seventeen hundred and
fifty {dollars} that may be a seven hundred
greenback crop card so that’s uh nicely over
double it is one hundred percent plus
enhance within the asking value that is
ridiculous to not point out you are dealing
with somebody extraordinarily scammy and shady
which may ship you an empty field and
even with issues like ebay’s uh purchaser
safety i’ve confirmed you guys display screen
recording on a video right here lately me
trying by the tremendous print certain
sufficient if it says sale is last which
all of them do say they might ship you a
turd in a field and also you’re mainly
munching down on that sucker as a result of
you are not going to get your a reimbursement
to not point out not solely did you simply
waste your cash however extra importantly
you wasted your time which i say all of the
time is extra necessary than cash
since you could be making a living with
your time or doing issues that you simply like
to do in your free time spending time
together with your family members petting your canine
kicking noobs asses and video video games i
defined in that video that the first
cause i used to be shopping for a pre-built interval
and why i really ended up with dell’s
alienware division over hp omen
cyberpower ibuypower or any of the opposite
dozens of pre-built firms on the market
in yxt et cetera nzxy i am messing that
acronym up ny maintain on what the hell okay
they’re each appropriate nzxt is the
pre-built firm nyxi is the nintendo
pleasure cons that i reviewed on the channel
lately i knew that was recent on the
mind for some cause so i discussed in
that video the first cause for me
getting a pre-built laptop was to get my
fingers on a 30 sequence graphics card
particularly the 3080 with out having to
take care of a scalper and pay an
astronomical markup or wait a number of
months or a number of years as a result of we
did not know on the time when laptop elements
would begin to degree again out and are available
again to a standard vary on march 6 2021 i
obtained my r11 and did an preliminary
assessment from that time on over the subsequent
12 months i made it blatantly clear that
it had cooling points that the case or
chassis as dell calls it was extraordinarily
restrictive it solely comes with one
consumption fan a 120 millimeter consumption fan
one 120 millimeter exhaust fan and a
small 120 millimeter radiator aio and
that is in case you pop for water cooling
which i strongly advocate repeatedly
that folks did as a result of in case you went the
air cooled route the silly psu which is
on a steel swivel design is correct up
towards the cpu cooler in essence simply
blowing sizzling air proper again into the
system which is already very tiny so i
made about 20 tutorials or so going
by totally different cooling modifications
that you are able to do to the alienware serving to
out the alienware neighborhood people who
have purchased these desktops both new or
possibly they acquired a superb deal used on ebay
fb market craigslist and so on
issues like including a second consumption fan
making use of new thermal pads and paste to
the gpu and ultimately all that
culminated with me doing a full case
swap which is the one full answer to
the cooling of the r9 by r12 which
all share the identical chassier case is to
k-swap it and that was a youtube first
in addition to maybe an web first as
i hadn’t actually discovered any solidified
information or tutorial of anyone case
swapping in alienware then the r13 and
r14 got here out with a totally revised caser
chassis a model new motherboard an entire
new set of options new i o plugs and
ports a giant substantial improve or what
seemed to be so from the r12 and
earlier i used to be extraordinarily excited i
positioned an order for an r13 with a 30 90
and an i9 however then it turned delayed
with no notification from dell i
really needed to inquire myself as to
what was occurring after which from there
i’ve made movies previously these will
all be linked down there within the
description beneath going forwards and backwards
with the dell representatives attempting to
work out what the heck was occurring i
had additionally delivered to mild some somewhat
shady enterprise practices that they
mainly welcome you to the household with
open arms providing you with 24-hour consideration
if you end up buying a laptop however then
while you want buyer help or to
inquire about an order you have already
paid for that it is laborious to come up with
anyone and after going forwards and backwards
with dell’s representatives and two
concurrent delays i canceled my order of
the r13 then i ordered a mid-range r14
off of amazon strictly for the aim
of reviewing i’ve the return label
already printed out proper there the one
hands-on video i’ve of the r14 is that this
one proper right here image popping up in
entrance of my face which is an unboxing
showcase of the brand new options and preliminary
impressions shortly after importing that
video i began utilizing that laptop day by day for
gaming video modifying primary productiveness
after which after all benchmarking and my
preliminary pleasure for what ought to have
been a full 180 from the r12 and
earlier and mainly a considerable
improve began fading and that i began
realizing that this is not the large
improve that is
being marketed or showcased on their
web site then players nexus got here out with
two movies a couple of week and a half aside
showcasing a teardown or disassembly of
the r13 after which lastly a benchmark in
assessment video following these two movies
there was a rash of feedback from only a
choose quantity of people these are
simply a number of feedback from like 5 or
six folks questioning the credibility
of my alienware movies and whatnot which
is hilarious for a pair causes however
the primary one can be that they are all
tutorials on easy methods to repair the cooling the
janky busted low efficiency cooling of
the r9 by r12 consider a laptop
that i solely bought to get my fingers on
a 3080 on the time which by the way in which
we’re constructing a laptop proper now as a result of
the value of laptop elements or elements has
really leveled off to the place i acquired
each single part a 3090 ti a 12
era i9 ddr5 ram a 1300 watt energy
provide an asus rog large dick motherboard
that is not the precise mannequin title however
it is their prime tier flagship um at
retail or really barely discounted
and tax-free on a few of these elements so i
was very excited for the r13 and 14 and
i’ve made movies showcasing all of the
options the brand new options the modifications
from the earlier era and people
movies are all taking data
straight from dell’s web site the reveal
trailers of the r13 and r14 and myself
and lots of different alienware homeowners or
potential homeowners have been really actually
excited till we really get our fingers
on these items which thank god fortunately
hopefully i can cease a few of you useless in
your tracks and be the one to assessment an
r13 and r14 hands-on in addition to of
course gamer’s nexus possibly jay’s two
cents possibly linus tech ideas people who
can get their fingers on these pcs and do
a little bit little bit of benchmarking and
hands-on testing and understand that the
r13 and 14 whereas they’re a considerable
improve from the 9 by 12. that is
coming from an r11 proprietor they ended up
absolutely customizing his and k-swapping it
to get the cooling in a suitable
realm however now that i’ve had my fingers on
with the r14 simply reviewing that not
preserving it had cancelled my private
order of an r13 on account of dell’s
miscommunications and simply appearing a
little bit janky by the way in which i am not
going to get absolutely into particulars with
that scenario these movies can be
linked within the description beneath in case you
need a full
i i talked about you already know verbatim what
me and the consultant have gone again
and forth with so simply to deal with a
couple of hair mind free nuts do
wackadoo off the wall nipple twisting
low iq feedback that i’ve seen someone
mentioned i ponder how a lot dell is
sponsoring you to positively promote
their desktops kind of i feel i am
being extra articulate than he was he was
similar to uh you freaking blah blah
blah anyway in case you assume dell or
alienware is sponsoring any content material
creators shy of 100 thousand
subscribers you are excessive they are a
large firm that’d be like hp omen
or asus rog discovering some 20k subscriber
andy and being like hey here is a 4
thousand greenback laptop you wanna say some
optimistic about it and the funniest
factor is in case you take a look at the precise
context of all of my alienware movies
they’re all tutorials on easy methods to repair the
cooling in order that’s why it would not make
any sense that they are like oh you are
shilling otherwise you’re simping for dell
positively not i’ve even blatantly mentioned
that i discover it disgusting the way in which i used to be
handled as a buyer and once more preserve in
thoughts wrapping all the way in which again to the
genesis or chapter one the one cause i
purchased a pre-built laptop was to get my
fingers on a 3080. so again in 2021 i
brazenly proclaimed that it’s good to
purchase a pre-built laptop due to the
part scarcity due to scalpers
and miners scooping up graphics playing cards
left and proper with bots and scripts
quick ahead to mid 2022 the theater has
modified and we’re virtually again to regular
laptop costs so now i am again to
recommending that you simply construct a laptop and
consider even when i made that video
recommending that you simply purchase a pre-built it
was particular to the scenario we have been in
with the pandemic and the silicon
scarcity in case you do not wish to construct a laptop
since you should not have the information or
you simply do not wish to you possibly can nonetheless purchase
a pre-built laptop nevertheless there are dozens
and that i do actually imply dozens of
firms on the market that pre-assemble
elements perform a little wire tuck job for you
a little bit cable administration contained in the
case put a guaranty on the field and ship
out pre-built pcs and dell would occur
to fall within the center to barely decrease
than center if i have been to rank all
pre-built pcs on a tier listing so shifting
ahead i’ll end my assessment of the
r14 and we’ll return it will probably be
leaving the gamer heaven as we’ve two
different pcs in right here proper now the one i am
on proper at times the one over my
shoulder i am open to reviewing an
alienware laptop computer sooner or later as i’ve
by no means had fingers on time with considered one of
these in addition to a few of alienware’s
gaming peripherals like their displays
keyboard mice and headsets shoot they
also have a gaming chair possibly i will check
that unhealthy boy out however so far as their
aurora r line of gaming desktops i’ve
had my fill of expertise with them so i
wished to make this video so as an alternative of
responding to those feedback manually
one after the other simply not likely that lots of
them there’s in all probability like 5 folks
which might be saying some off-the-wall stuff
i can simply drop the hyperlink to this video
on a extra optimistic be aware i’m doing a
full laptop construct information in a 4 half or
episode sequence and that may be a nicely
organized step-by-step construct information with
chapters or time stamps all elements or
elements linked within the description
beneath from the very starting of

  1. I have an R-11. I replaced the water cooler fan and it would not boot. Put the original fan in and still will not boot. I am going back to building my own rigs. this is ridiculous. When I upgraded memory it took awhile for it to boot. I think this is Dells way to make these system proprietary.

  2. Just had an aurora r14. It was a mess. I could not play a game on it without it bod'ing. I returned it after a week. Built my own…good to go. Haven't bod'd even once. My advice: build your own. It is a blast! No more dell for me.

  3. Wished I had found your vid 3 weeks ago. Bought a R14 from Amazon, not bad but I have built better and bought prebuilt better ones. Here is a lesson learned about Alien/Dell product from Amazon. While trying to have an issue resolved I was told by DELL Customer support that even though my PC was just a little over a week old they could not help me since it was over 120 days old. When I said it was only about 10 days old I was corrected. Then it hit me, DELL starts the warranty clock the day it leaves their warehouse not when it is put into service! So if their is a major software mess to unscrew with your Alienware / Dell and you did not buy it directly from DELL, your hosed! Still debating this week if I am going to send it back!

  4. Any recommendations on prebuilt PC brands (or mostly prebuilt, i.e., not an extensive amount of tinkering needed) for gamers that aren't trying to play AAA console games on their PC?

  5. Thanks for all the great info!
I ordered an R10 before seeing your video 🙁
It arrived broken, "CPU FAN Error". No R10s left so they are sending me the same config in an R14 (Ryzen 9, 3080ti, 32Gb ram, 1TB SSD). We will see how the R14 goes when it arrives. Thanks again for all your research and info 👍

  7. You should look at lenovo gaming pc's off the shelf parts great prices all new tech. You can get a 360mm rad 3080ti's from them.

Also dell updated there alienware bios and added tracking/data collection on the bios level. You half to dig but the options are there.

  8. I get that a lot of people have some major issues with Dell, but here's my anecdotal evidence. I've had three alienware PC's because I love the idea of making one myself, but not having the know-how to do it. I had an M17x laptop that I HATED, an x51 R2 desktop from 2009 (I actually used GH's advice on the new models to resurrect it a few months ago, and it runs like a top, albeit with an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760), and I got the R12, air cooled (whoops), and the 3070 (whoops again).

For the record, I bought the R12 before I seen GH's reviews. It came out of the box and was HOT. I opened my first game and the temperature hit almost 100C within a couple minutes. I went through GH's videos and found some of the cooling tips, put in a Corsair H60 AIO with two ML120 Pro fans around the radiator, and put a third in the front of the case (most people I see change the fans because it fires up like a jet engine, but that's not what bothered me). I repasted the CPU and got the heatsink as well.

Should I have to do all that? Not for what I paid for it. Did it work? I play games at the highest settings I can go, and I've had the PC heat up to 60C once.

After the work was done, I haven't had a single complaint with it. That being said, I understand that any prebuilt is going to have something you want to tweak right out of the box, but having to figure out Dell's cooling for them is pretty ridiculous. I've never dealt with their customer service, but if his experience is anything to go off of, I'm pretty sketched out at the thought of having something break. Thanks for your content, it's enjoyable and I learn something every time I open a video!

  9. So i own a Area 52 alienware and loved every sec of it. im due for an upgrade now. after all these reviews im real cautious. was thinking about a custom NZXT build but not sure. If you have dealt with NZXT would u recommend. the other biggest thing is support if it does happen software wise or hardware. dell has been good on honoring replacements and support if needed only had a few issues over the last 8 years. just kind of torn now what to do

  10. I had an Alienware and was certainly disappointed. I loved the GPU and CPU but was mad they restricted a lot of flow. I can't believe Dell is the way they are still making half-baked products that would practically suffice for the early '00s quality of PCs. Alienware needs to really look into quality and deliverance into another company other than Dell, to be honest. Also, I'm surprised the BBB isn't investigating Dell's shady way of work, lack of development, and ability to transform what a real gaming PC is. I also thought how distasteful it was to open up the box to the inside of the PC and see the industrial-type fans that are ridiculously loud. Hence, the '00s PC practicality. All in all, everything was so limited and was a waste of money. Good thing I returned it. BUT Dell ripped me off $50 of my $2,000 refund/return. Good riddance to Dell. No one in my group will be recommended to them. Good video btw.

  11. I've built pc's for 25 years…each path pre built /home built can be a PTSD causing nightmare. I once had five different power supplies from different vendors all show up DOA…I had a exclusive boutique builder (Not Alienware) send me a train wreck of a build with sub par components. It is a crap shoot and anyone that says it's not is selling something.

The first thing anyone needs to understand is the Youtubes (not talking about you Kev) is the least reliable source you can go to…there are honest Joe's, but if you see anyone constantly praising or hating on something they have an agenda.

These days pc building is not my hobby or employment…I want to play ESO with my wife, and maybe some MechWarrior 5 with my buds. I will buy the PC to run the program…there is no other need beyond that. I'm currently playing with a R14 5900X 32 GB of Ram and 6900X Raedon card. My wife has the Intel equivalent in her R13….We got both systems at very good deals at the times of purchasing with Discounts and generally have no complaints….my friend down the street is ready to hang himself because all he has is problems…as I said crap shoot.

People Irrationally hate Alienware and they justifiably hate Alienware the same can be said for every other thing on this crazy old world of ours. Buying or Building a PC both has positives and minuses…..Not everyone wants to constantly tinker not everyone can let someone else build something for them do what is best for you and research more than just the first 3 youtube vids.

    Good luck out there.

  12. Awesome video review! I wanted to get the new Alienware PC. It looks amazing but I have had some issues with my R12 too. I have had the R12 with a 3070 in it for about a year now. If you can build a custom PC for the same price now then go for it. I can't wait to watch your build videos and see what you end up building.

  13. Building your own PC is the wave lol. My girlfriend got a pre built from RGB custom in the end of 2020, the one Nintendo Grl had, its all pink and flashy with a 3060ti and r5 3600. They did a good job building it but it was north of $2500 CAD! I guess in retrospect its not that bad compared to the scalped prices a few months later but at the time i thought it was nuts lol.

I 'm an app developer for a Fortune 500 software company. Dell is our preferred partner for hardware and we received a few R12s during the worst of the hardware shortage. I used your videos to case swap the one I received and it performs significantly better. You did a service sharing your AW experiences. Having to respond to haters means your channel is successful, congrats, and thanks!

  17. I posted this as a reply to someone else, below, but felt it warranted its own comment/thread:

Sunk-Cost Fallacy is real. SCF is the phenomenon whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more beneficial.

My R11 was a 10900KF, 32GB RAM (later upgraded to 64GB because I multibox games) and a 3080. I spent a couple hundred bucks on Corsair ML120 fans, thermal paste and thermal pads at the height of the pandemic trying to get the thermals down. I ripped out the 3.5" HDD cage and added a second intake fan. I added a new fan to the AIO to give it a push/pull configuration. I replaced the stock fans with ML120s. I ripped the GPU apart, replaced all the pads with Gelid 15W/mK pads, repasted the GPU and CPU with Kryonaut, and added paste to the metal-to-metal contacts above the VRAM. That's about all you can do with an R9 – R12 to get your thermals under control. After that, it's in the hands of the laws of Thermodynamics and they do not care where you think your system should be performing. All of these upgrades were done based on the videos from this channel.

I wasn't exactly stricken by sunk-cost fallacy, as I really had nowhere else to turn for a decent GPU and the ONE thing Dell truly got right on these systems was the GPUs. These Dell 3070, 3080 and 3090 cards are actually really nice (for being dual fan) and they look AND feel like they were designed by XFX, which they probably were. It sure FELT like SCF, though, as I poured out a couple hundred bucks for a minimal performance increase (that should have been there from the beginning, given the premium price I paid for my R11).

Funny enough, I gave that R11 case (with mobo, PSU, AIO and all upgraded fans) to my brother who promptly put an i7 10700K & ASUS 2060 in it and he's doing great. All of his thermals are staying within limits even with a reasonable full-time OC. This chassis/case works just fine when you're pulling 75 – 100 watts less.

The problem is that you're paying a premium price for premium performance and receiving very mediocre-at-best performance – often underperforming to the tune of $600 – $800. Now, if you're fine pissing that kind of money into the wind for a fancy looking case and an RGB-programmable Alienware logo, more power to you. I am not.

    My system is now:

Fractal Design Meshify S2 case (2x 140mm intake fans in front, 1x120mm exhaust fan in rear, 2x120mm intake fans in the top towards the front, 1x120mm fan in top as exhaust, positioned over the CPU cooler)

    MSI z590 Pro WiFi motherboard

EVGA SuperNova 80+ Gold 850W PSU

    10900KF CPU with a full-time, all-cores OC to 5.1GHz (235W sustained)

    64GB T-Force 15-15-15-19 DDR4 3200MHz RAM running at 3200MHz in dual channel configuration

Noctua NH-D12 Chromax Black CPU Cooler with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut TIM

Dell GeForce RTX 3080 re-padded with Gelid 15w/mK pads and repasted with Conductonaut on the die and Kryonaut on the VRAM metal-to-metal connections. The card is overclocked 50MHz on the GPU and 400MHz on the VRAM, pulling 328W at full-bore

    1x WD Black White-Label 1TB NVMe

    1x Samsung 970 EVO 1TB NVMe

    2x SanDisk Ultra 3D 2TB SATA-III SSDs

    1x Seagate Exos 14TB 7200RPM HDD

In this configuration, I consistently score low-17Ks on Cinebench R23 and can keep a custom 1440p w/8xAA Furmark going perpetually without ever going over 90C on my hotspot (GPU fans at 75% because noise. CPU and case fans are all but silent at 100%) at 328W. On the Alienware as it was purchased, I scored high 14Ks on Cinebench R23 and at a full 307W, the 3080 thermal throttled after about 10 minutes in Furmark. On the Alienware after I upgraded it, I was pushing high 15Ks on Cinebench R23 and could maintain 307W perpetually on the 3080 in Furmark. That's a significant increase in performance (especially for just changing out fans, adding fans, and re-pasting/re-padding the GPU) and really brought the R11 up to something I could daily drive. But, when my brother's PC died, I seized the opportunity to minmax my own system a bit more while helping him out at the same time. I'm glad I did.

Personally, I'll never buy an Alienware DESKTOP again. There is still a solid argument to be made for the value of their laptops, however, especially when you take into account they have among the best thermals for gaming laptops.

This was a long read, and I hope you saw it through to the end. This was my R11 experience.

  19. I must say I started to think you were schilling, esp after watching Nexus this week about the new rig, but after this vid and re-watching your past vids (to which is why I subbed), yeah nah I agree… you're not schilling. I say again, you are not schilling. You're BLUF (bottom line up front) about why you bought these. As much of a fan boy I am, and I admit it, I have an old rig, the mouse, KB, 38 curved, headphones and maybe the new wireless headphones, I'm re-thinking about this new rig. I've always known there's better out there for pre-builds, way better, but I'm a fan boy. So now I'm back on the fence and will bide my time, like laying in ambush for 6 hrs pissing in my cups canteen. And if they're throttling the i9/3090 to nearly an i7/3080, before it throttles from heat, then heck, I may as well save money (on both the rig and the electricity bill) and just get the i7/3080 (if I decide to get it that is).

  20. Yeah, I'm so glad I cancelled my R13 order. Ended up going to Memory Express in Canada here and did a custom build. Icue 5000X case, 10 Fans (360 Corsair AIO), Rog STRIX Z690-F Motherboard (With PCIE 5 slot for GPU), I9 12900K CPU, 32 GB of DDR5 Ram @ 6000, 2TB Gen 4 SSD storage, 1000W PSU and EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3. Easily upgradable in the future and a MUCH MUCH better build for around the same price the R13 would of cost.

  21. I've done parts lists for people, price checks, recommended pre-builts, vetted used sellers, and helped friends build their computers.

There are situations where every route can make sense. But it's a mine field. Please God, just let someone guide you through it or you will be taken advantage of.

  22. Was about to swap my home made 9700K + RTX 2080Ti even though it is running quiet and smooth with the R13 12900KF + RTX3080Ti because i love the design and the fact that it is pre-built… I may wait for the R15 or whetever they call it and the RTX 4080 as they may increase again the thermals… who knows…

  23. Thanks for this. Had a similar experience, with similar motivations, but when I discovered I could finally source all my own parts for MSRP, I cancelled my R13 order post haste. As you mentioned, at one point in the pandemic, the R13 was possibly the single best option (on paper, anyways) to obtain certain hardware at an incredible price (DDR5 RAM and GPUs). But between their customer service and boneheaded thermally constrictive designs, the “on paper” possibilities of such a pre-built quickly fade away. I’d still be curious to see how a more moderate config fares in the R13 case (like an i7 and the 3080 rather than the top tier config Gamer’s Nexus tested), but I suspect it’s still thermally constrained compared to the average self-built rig. While I was in pre-built mode, I appreciated all your guidance around making the Alienware work, and I always felt I knew what I was getting into and had some support along the way. For those accusing you of being a shill, I hope this video clarifies the difference between acknowledging limitations and trying to work within them rather than unqualified endorsement.

  24. Thank you for the content Kevin, I really used your Alienware info last year to get my PCs. Now with GPU prices coming back down to Earth, build if/when you can. Around the past 12 months, it was totally worth it to get an R10 with a 3080 and a Ryzen 5600/5800/5900. Both of those components were out of stock or more than the cost of the prebuilt on the secondary market (plus you get a whole working PC, rather than just parts). I ordered 2x R10's for the RTX GPUs and Ryzen CPUs. I then changed out those parts into my built desktop PCs and let my kids use the R10's for gaming with reduced CPUs and graphics. The 12 month 0% financing also has value, and it has allowed me to pay both off slowly with mining profits. Now I have 2x RTX 30 series and 2x Ryzen CPUs in my builds and 2x PCs my kids use that have been part-time mining for about 12 months now and for the last week or two, all the mining is profit.

I really wanted the R13/R14 to be better, but the pricing is insane compared to building a PC with proper cooling. Now that the GPUs that the Alienware PCs come with are LHR, ETH profitability being down, ETH merge coming soon, and the 40 series coming soon… totally not worth it. Can't wait for next Ryzen CPUs and 40 series… so glad it makes more sense to build a PC, rather than buy a prebuilt.

  25. I bought a r13 when it came out. i7 12700KF, 3080 ti, 32 DDR5 and 1tb m.2. total price was $3000. Maybe I got extremely lucky with my build but I have had 0 problems. Temps are always mid 80's under a heavy load (gaming on max graphics on 1440 while streaming and having multiple tabs and videos on a seperate monitor). Had a r10 with a 5900x, 3080 ti and that thing mine as well have been put in the livingroom as a fireplace. Temps in that bad boy would get in the 100's and immediatly returned it. Overall extremely happy with the r13 but i could have won the lottery here on my build. Love the videos as always my dude.
